A Girl Can Dream, Right?

Preparing for the cruise, a whirlwind of excitement and anticipation courses through my veins. Amidst sapphire waves and ocean skies, I'm eager to meet with my teammates, especially one sexy beast I've been mentoring late at night, a little too often.  A single man secure enough in his masculinity to be sponsored by a woman he'd never met, it was more likely I'd win the lottery but it happened!  Men that secure, are  as rare as a million dollars popping out of thin air!  Finding one man who would just listen to my dream let alone believe in it and share it, up until him has been impossible... yeah I'm ready to go past first base and then some! As I finish packing, I can't help but indulge in a few tantalizing semi erotic fantasies. From our first conversation, strategizing his path to success, I was completely intoxicated by him. After months of working together, I'm still feeling an  undeniable connection that has nothing to do with business. His confidence...

Diversify Your Income

Stocks pay dividends and royalties just for owning shares, if you own an apartment building you get paid the rent. If you blog like me, you get affiliate commissions when people buy from your links.  I'm going to say something here a lot of people will disagree with, Multi Level Marketing (MLM) is just another way to diversify your income, like collecting gold coins.   Some people devote their lives to it, because it is a culture of motivation and self development and they get sucked in, treating it like a cult, some even lose their sense of reality and worship the leaders of these businesses, something I've seen first hand in very disturbing ways. Other people think MLM is dishonest, or a scam or it doesn't work.  Well working a job where you can be let go of without notice for any reason from downsizing the company, to being five minutes late, just before you're about to get your pension, those are the real scams. I've met more than a few elderly who had that happ...

My Why!

It is a freezing December night, the wind claws at my back, snow and ice crunch beneath my boots. I just want to get home and burrow into the warmth of my electric blanket. A  sense of unease settles in the pit of my stomach as I cross the desolate parking lot. My heart sinks. Shattered glass litters the dark pavement sparkling like scattered blood diamonds deceptiveky beautiful and all too threatening in the dim glow of streetlights. Slashed tires slump aginst unforgiving concrete. There's no hope of escape. Memories flash through my mind of another time I was stranded. Waking up in a pool of blood. Calling every one in my contacts but they were all too busy to help or didn't answer.  Fear clenches in my stomach, nausea burns my throat. I can't go through that again!  But this time is different. This time, I know who to call . I take a deep breathe, gathering my strength, reminding myself why it will be okay. With numb fingers and a shaking hand I press send m...
